The Salute Promotion is now long over, but all is not lost - there are still goodies to be had INCLUDING some nice bits in the "Drews Big Box Of Bargains" Section!

The last three Cobra Light Skimmers - slightly rougher than I would like, are up for grabs at a discounted price, perfectly servicable - they just need a little extra work.

Due to an over casting - Dr Mackalay is just £2.00 (you could pick up two and do both variants - he comes with two heads after all) - this of course means the Brotherhood Heroes set is cheaper too.

The MK1 Sci-Fi Security Troops are cheap too, the bodies are perfect (so great for conversions at just £1.00 a pop)  or you can pick them up with the slightly miscast head and weapons sprue for £1.50.

Mark I Blackwood Industries Sentry Units (for just £10) these kits are "seconds" - that is, they are broken in some way (usually at an elbow or knee joint) - ALL the parts are there, there are just some minor repairs need doing.

The Same goes for the Apocalypse Security Personnel 'M.A.T.A.T.'(reduced to £8.50) and his Big Brother the 'Eddie-29' Mark II M.A.T.A.T. (Reduced to £10.00) - again, ALL the parts are there, there are just some minor repairs need doing.

Think of them as Multi MULTI part Kits ;)

Lastly, again due to an overstock, the Morlock Mob is Back for just £11.50 for a Set of six!

Salute is Over - But Bargains are Still to be Had!!!!!!!

We Use Big Guns Too . . .

Slight liberties taken with these, as you don't see rifled troops in the source material (at least not Good Guys) - but, I wanted to expand what was available for them for them to work within the confines of S.D.Z.A. Carl's done a great job on making the rifle match the sidearm!
The Executioners were taken from the best of the best of the O.C.T.P. (Omega Colony Thought Police) and trained to be killers, their job was to maintain order over the population of Omega Colony, and exterminate those who could not (or would not) fit in.

. . . STOP . . . PRESS . . .

STOP PRESS! The Salute Discount has been extended to Monday - why you ask, because two very nice gentlemen got in touch and asked.

Rather than just let them do it (which would be unfair - and its hard to extend a discount code for just two people LoL) I've extended the codes life (SALUTE16) on the system.

But Don't forget, although the discount is extended - you only have till Monday to take advantage, Tuesday onwards everything is back to normal!

SALUTE16

Nexus Studios

WHO ARE NEXUS STUDIOS! (Nexus Studios is who we are, Nexus Miniatures are what we make).

Well, theres me Drew Wood - the mad ideas, the writing, the planning etc - thats my department. I'd call it a one man band, but I have help (Cats not withstanding).

Carl Stoelzel - long time friend and confidant, he's my "Art Master General". His doodles breath life into my worlds, he's also turned out to be a rather brilliant Z-Brush sculptor too (it's Carls work you are seeing in the previews)

Dave Stone does my Resin Castings, and sculpts stuff for me on occassion - he also sells S.D.Z.A. Terrain and Suitable Prehistoric Creatures through his business Wargames Terrain Workshop.

Andy Lyon of Ainsty Castings does my Metal Castings, he also sells a great selection of terrain (his factory stuff would be great for a Uni-Tech installation).

Dave Crowther and Darren Pugh are my chief testers - I bounce wild ideas off them, and the playtest rules.

Lastly, my long suffering partner Linda - without her support and tolerance - I wouldnt even be attempting what I'm doing at the moment (Thanks Speedy)!

Most Heroes don't wear their "Super-Costumes" all the time, and most miniature Companies don't release miniatures for characters in their civilian Guise - but We . . Aren't . . Like . . Most . . Miniature . . Companies . .

Giaour Queen

The Giaour are Rednecks and Survivalists who have lived in the Barrens so long they've evolved into a self mutilating cannibal society and live alongside the Carrion - often picking over their leftovers for food. Vile in the extreme, with an almost hive-like structure to a tribe - and each tribe as an unnaturally seductive Queen . . . .

Ronin-X

Ronin-X (A.K.A. Jack Hughman) is a Rogue Prime - Not all Primes are allied with a Faction, and have been dubbed "Ronin" by the Initiative.

This guy was sculpted some time ago - and though I love the quirky style of this sculpt, I wasn't entirely sure about releasing it - but those who've seen it have been nagging me to, so it's going to get a limited release through the Retro-Booster (and then maybe available as a promo model, and at events).

B.U.G. (British Union Ground) Trooper

B.U.G. (British Union Ground) Trooper - filling out the grunts for S.D.Z.A. and providing Jacob Nexus with Backup :-D

Ground-Speeder!

The Bruchus Ground-Speeder for the D-Rangers Faction :D

ONE MORE BEFORE BED!

Garbage, the Whisper

Though I'm sure some might be offended by this one - I assure folks, that's not my intent.

"Garbage, the Whisper" as she's called, just stays very close to the source Material (a big "no prize" if you know LoL)!

Whisper Carrion are smarter than your average Wandering Dead, acting as Leaders in Carrion Hordes (or as Lieutenants to the Prophet himself).

"Garbage" is a single piece Casting, and will be made available for pre-order during the Retro-Booster.

Not All Heroes are Good Guys.....

One more today, before bedtime - Traditional Sculpting this time. The First pair of (and much anticipated) Highwaymen for S.D.Z.A!

Yesterdays Future - TODAY!

"RETRO-BUSTER" - Whats That?

I know I've not been noisy of late (family crisis and ill-health not withstanding LoL) - but I've been a little busy ;)

Information Soon . . . . . . . . .
